But well ..... I'll bring him tonight then.
And seriously, I hope I could stay home after work daily to look after Niki. He has impacted my life Greatly !! And I ought to teach him well. It's my responsibility to bring him home, and take good care of him!
Well ... he's just so cute!! ^^
Taught him "SIT" yesterday. Although he knew how to stand long long time ago, but he didn't know the command for that action. He now understands "SIT" and does listen to me for that. He sometimes does respond to his name, and usually he'll ignore you when he's doing something serious - like sniffing the detergent in my kitchen or looking at my dad/mum eats. Zzz ... but that's him !
But he's clever!
I was nibbling on a cupcake two days ago, and Niki sat infront of me looking (and drooling). He tried to act 'guai' and act cute to gain my attention. I lowered the cup cake, and he stood up smelling it. But just before he take a bite, I pull it off and continue eating. He sat down back to his position, and waited patiently.
I then kept the cup cake into the container and left it on the table, looked at him and walked away calling him. He didn't follow. He stood at the table and started sniffing at that particular container! LOL ..... and I stood behind him and looked for a second, he turned his head and look at me with that very innocent look as if telling me "can I have one too?" LOL*
I grabbed his kibbles and fed him.
And he chewed on it happily, waggin his curled up tail ......
And he did the same thing yesterday, looking at the container, and glance at me with that innocent look ..... I said "NO," and he sat down ...
He can be very naughty sometimes, and playful of course. But he's cute - can't deny the fact! And most importantly, my family all loves him. And Dardar.... =)
I bathed him yesterday, and he stopped scratching for awhile, and then the itch came back again. Plus he's having diarreah on and off, and we found some ticks-like bug crawling on him that day which we removed instantly. I am so afraid that he've got ticks in him, or some bugs or worm that is causing his skin and tummy problems. SIGHH..... and no one feels that it's urgent? sigh .....
I have been wiping him daily and reducing his amount in food so he don't get indigestion, plus I don't soak his kibbles anymore so that he chew on them, breaking it into smaller pieces before swallowing.
I can remember, the very first time I fed him kibbles, he swallowed the whole bit down without chewing! And he didn't wanna eat cuz it's hard and tough to swallow~ LOL* and that is why I soaked his kibbles - but end up he swallowed them down, and throw everything out in whole. =.="
But anyway, now that he's getting use to it, I trust that the food is not the main cause. He keep having discharge in his right ear, and I'm so afraid its ear infection. =(
Well... shall allow the doc to access him before I make any conclusion to scare myself.
Anyway, i'm teaching him a few things at the moment. "STAND", "SHHH", "No bite bite", "SLEEP" and "drink water" ... He's starting to understand "SHHH" as he'll stop barking immediately, and start whining. =.=
He also understands "no bite bite" after I piak him softly after getting bit when we play. So now he'll only lick my fingers or put them into his mouth, and never use force. I didn't hear my mum saying Niki bites her anymore, so I guess Niki really understand that. =)
"SLEEP" wise, he's not catching it yet.
Give me more time ~
"Drink water" will be after every play or meal, I'll tap on his water bottle and say drink water. He'll come over and lick once when I do that - to entertain me - if he doesn't wanna drink. And of course, when he's thirsty he'll ran over right away upon hearing the tapping sound. =)
WELL WELL WELL ...... it all takes time.
I hope he'll stop his vomits and diarreah soon, so that I can bring him to have his jab done fast - to bring him out! (cuz according to vets and other owners, without this 3 injections, i'm not suppose to bring Niki out or else he'll get sick easily).
