Brought Niki for basic Grooming!
His fur was way too longgg and I was so tempted to cut him botak!

YES! Definitely thanks to the weather that made him so warm throughout the day. So cutting him bald was the right choice, but I didn't.
WHY?
Because to full groom him will cost me friggin 35bucks!
IT'S NOT WORTH IT when I still have TWO Full Grooming + Spa vouchers for him. I tried calling for appointment, but the earliest they have is in June. Bahhhhh ~ So yea, Basic Grooming.
The usual place I brought Niki to, Marsiling blk 116.
There is a Pet's Keepers.
And I know I'll stop going there.
WHY? - read on.
FIRSTLY, niki got molested by one of the dogs there. The owner left her dog there at Pets' Keepers during the day when no one is in the house.
HE is a MALE SHIH TZU.
An old dog.
And Niki was a little traumatized.
He keep shaking him off but the ShihTzu keep coming back ONTO him.
.... and he keep sniffing him ...
... until when Niki's fed up, he gave that ShihTzu a hard Stare!
And the ShihTzu got shocked for awhile and stop chasing after him.
But I think, dogs are forgetful because...
.... he continued sniffing him after just awhile!
LOL!
And so, Niki continue moving away from him, and that ShihTzu continue climbing on to him. =.="
They stopped until they saw another dog.
Another MALE dog. =.="
A Red Poodle this time, freshly came out from bath.
So, if I never mentioned before, Niki has fetish over nice smells from shampoos. He will sniff my hair or hand after I shampoo or wash my hands, and he will sneak into the washing machine area to sniff our washing detergents.
He also liked freshly washed and dried towels with detergent smell.
He also use to sniff jiajia after bath. =)
So, being a playful and active poodle, he did just the same.
SNIFFING !
And what happen?
The Shop owner wore clothes for the male poodle while the both watch him!
*am I cuter now?*
And out came another poodle.
A female one this time ..
Yup!
Two poodles from the same owner!
And my naughty Niki started drooling.

And it was niki's turn for Grooming!
I wasn't allowed in cuz they said that the dogs will not be obedient when the owners are around. They'll keep moving and start whining. I don't know how true, but I didn't wanna disturb their work, so I stood away.

Like so ke lian like that ~ Aww..
I was bored, so went to look around.
The trimming of his fur took about 45mins.
The 4 paws, butt, hot-spots and face.
Then Bath!
Niki has to wait for a little while in the tub alone cuz the auntie went out to serve a customer. Yes its her own shop and she is short handed.
She came back in 20mins and Niki wagged his tail at her.
And Niki was moving around the tub refusing the bath until I stood at the door way, he calmed down and allow the Auntie to scrub him.

Then was blow drying which Niki hates most!
Sigh, the auntie was rough. No choice !!
Zzz .
We went back, and Niki was so tired.
Played with him a little, and he definitely felt better.
Dad and mum came back from Genting that night, bringing him his favourite snack!! > XIAO MAN TOU !!
One whole box !
Of course, we don't feed him everything~ I think mostly were eaten by me than Niki! HAHAHA !!
The Second Reason was, the Auntie didn't really like Niki cuz Niki hates Blow drying. He will keep moving and hiding away winds blowing on his face and neck. And the auntie felt so frustrated that he pulled him roughly and shouted at him.
And it all doesn't work. Niki will keep moving.
Lastly, I found ticks running on his body the very next day as he was scratching hard. We though it was due to the shavings that made him itch. But no. The scratchings were so hard that his skin became so red, and it worries us.
I was helping him scratch his butt, and I peeled the tick off his skin thinking it was a dead skin. YUCK* I applied the insect repellent for ticks and fleas IMMEDIATELY!
Caught another one at where he was scratching later on, and the next day two on the ground. I think Niki manage to scratch the running ticks out. Great.
He have stopped his scratchings since then.
